Immaculate room very tastefully decorated, however the bed was not very comfortable at all , broken bidet in toilet with a cheap notice on it not to use no choices regarding the cooked breakfast ie fried egg ,scrambled egg . Would of expected more for the price
Immaculate & spotless upmarket period B&B. Friendly owner. Lovely full english breakfast. 5 minute walk to river. 15 min drive to Oxford cemtre.
This is a lovely little cottage with very thick stone walls, so you simply don't notice the busy road which is fairly nearby - a short walk down the drive, past the sheep in the neighbouring field! It was cosy and warm (in December) and very well equipped. It's small, but the owner hasn't compromised on comfort and we slept really well. The (surprisingly roomy) bedroom is upstairs and has a fan, if you're lucky enough to be there in hot weather.would There are frequent fast buses to Oxford or, in the opposite direction, to Witney. The owner gave us a friendly welcome and all in all, we would recommend as a quiet and comfortable self-catering space.
Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice served in a room with period furniture. All within easy reach of Oxford and the surrounding area. Would we come again? Certainly.
The tents were kitted out with anything we might need. The venue itself is stunning and is only a short taxi ride from the centre of Oxford. The facilities were excellent and accounted for anything we might have needed during our stay. Just a superb place!
